Head in my hands, eyes looking sorrowful
The back of your head never looked so damn beautiful
Take off the blinds in the glaze in my eyes
Show me what life would be like without pride
Another angel ripped off my wings
And I'm sorry that you had to be Cupid to my Psyche
Aphrodite won't take this lightly
We'll just drown our fears in the river of lost souls
As it goes
Nothing seems to phase her oh I know
She's so Rock n' Roll
It's happening again
Again
Oh my god my mind's got the bends
I'm making friends in the back of my head
Please just take my beating heart instead
Before the red earth takes me home again
Hey can't you hear my screaming your name
It's insane
Honey you're really good at charades
I saw the love in your heart dimming oh
And I'm really dying for your hand to hold
Oh my god my mind's got the bends
I'm making friends in the back of my head
Please just take my beating heart instead
Before the red earth takes me home again
I swear I've seen the ghost
Of my youth go up in smoke
You're breathing in the most
You're suffocating
Somewhere out there I will find the sun once again

Very great EP that totally took me by surprise while peeping through random users' bandcamp pages. The songs flow into each other really well (With Open --> Da Da Da Da being my favorite transition) while also managing to feel like distinct songs. Very funky rhythms throughout as well! Menzi

Certainly a controversial direction for the band, but this album ultimately rests as my favorite from TTNG. The technical mastery of their previous albums is still present here along with some very thought provoking and philosophical lyrics. I may not always agree with the lyrical messaging, but this is an album which rewards careful listening. Syobnaf

I like to pretend I have a really talented friend who recorded this album as a gift. That's what it feels like; a gift from a stupidly close friend. sherryking
